You have so much – not least – eachother! You’re both wonderful and you’re doing so well with your lives. It’s amazing to read about it all from halfway round the world!

As always, good luck with your growing business and as I said in my instagram comment, you two will one day make the most wonderful and loving parents!

    Much love,

I know what you mean – I love seeing Halloweens with autumn leaves and with snow Christmases through the eyes of bloggers in the US and Europe! I love that blogging makes the world a smaller place. 🙂

I’m so looking forward to the market! It’s a Christmas one too so I’m trying to coming up with some new, Christmasy ideas for it. I really can’t wait! xx

On my happy list right now is seeing that beautiful, radiant photo of the two of you! What an amazing, strong pair of individuals you are!! Congratulations on being accepted at the square and making it as one of the top five blogs. Best wishes to you both as you move forward with strength, hope and each other. (PS other things on my happy list are making some head-way with a swag of art pieces I need to have made by March next year, finding interesting lengths of rope and twine on the side of the road (to be used in previously mentioned art pieces), seeing Paul Dempsey play at the HIFI last Friday night, and being able to leave the doors and windows open to fill the house with warmth and fresh, sweet spring air!)

Congratulations on making the Top Five on Voices 2013. That is a huge accomplishment.

You TOTALLY deserve the recognition. I love your blog: simple, honest, full of good things.

Again, it makes me happy to see you getting back to your ‘regular selves’.

    All the best,

Oh Katie! So nice to see that you are ok, and even happy enough to write a happy list! It makes my heart swell. This is my first-(ish) comment on your blog, but I read you regularly and have loved following your journey. Me and my boyfriend are perhaps like you in an earlier time, we live in Sydney and really would love to get out to the country – both having grown up in small Australian towns. But… on my happy list this week is that my boyfriend just started his dream job in high-end watch repair, which is in the city. So I am trying to create the simple life while still living in the big smoke (eek). Life is unpredictable – I wish you and Reuben the best! xxxxxx

    Hi Katie & Reuben,
I read your post the other day, and I couldn’t respond at first. I didn’t have the words. I have never been a mom, and now am too old, but I can sympathize and my heart just ached for both of you. I am so happy that you have each other and also the ability to see the beauty in even the small cozy details. I hope that these things continue to provide support. I have had a few bad things happen in my life, nothing like what you went through, but hard enough… and they become a part of the fabric of our lives, of us, and while sad and hard, there is a bitter sweet side too. And I hope for you the sweet comes through strongly. All the best.

How sad it is to hear of your loss. I have just started reading your blog and already I see you both with strength and purpose and I pray God will continue to comfort you. I love to see all the lovely things in your life. You are both inspirational.

I only heard about your blog today, after your big achievement last night! What happiness and prettiness I have been missing out on! This is just lovely. And congratulations. xx

Sorry…I should have written this comment on another post. Glad you are doing better. x
