10 Good Things Right Now

Tumbling into bed after a long, long day.

Cuddles with bunnies.

Homemade cupcakes with chocolate frosting and raspberry jam centres.

Lovely friends who help with moving.

Mugs of tea.

Watching our Daisy dog play with mum’s Molly. They are utterly inseparable. (So cute!)

Listening to Dr Karl podcasts in the car.

Veggie lasagne.

Bunches of roses, fresh out of the garden.

Evenings spent rocking gently on the garden swing.

What’s on your happy list today!? It’d be rad if you’d share.

Katie and Reuben x

PS We did it! We moved! We’ve still got a few bits and pieces at the old house and we have to go back and clean the place up yet, but the worst of it is done so we are breathing a big sigh of relief!

Hooray! I’m happy for you that the biggest part is over and that you now can focus on other important things. :)
But first of all, enjoy the little things!

    Have a great week. xo.

    Hmmm my happy list today….

1- Hanging out washing at 8pm and listening to the sounds of suburbia
2- The technology of phones, allowing me to chat to my partner like he was here next to me, not a day’s travel away
3- Kindergarten children and their amazing way of viewing the world
    4- Chocolate, always chocolate
5- My crochet blankets, keeping my feet cozy & brightening up my room/day
6- Making a sneaky Monday morning pancake for breaky, from leftover lazy Sunday pancake mixture
7- The promise of a fabulous summer ahead; lazy camping, swimming in the river, crochet blankets to make and many, many new recipes to try (& eat!)
8- Soda water and homemade lemon cordial
9- My family & looking forward to our rare weekend all together in one place very soon
10- You blog; for making me stop & smell the roses…to think about & focus on what’s important and what is making me happy at the moment. Thanks xx

Those roses are beautiful! I only made my first veggie lasagne a few weeks back and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I’ve made it a few times now and it just gets better every time :)

Veggie lasagne never fails! And it’s one of the few vegetarian dishes most non-veggie people love too. So good! :)

Congrats on moving! This is a great list. I’m enjoying being off work today due to the hurricane. I’m also enjoying making goal lists for 2013.

Loving the “10 good things right now” posts from you guys. Such a great way to get one to appreciate what one has, rather than long for things one doesn’t have.

Sorry I couldn’t wait around on Sunday to help with that second load!

mmm… vegie lasagne sounds so good. I hope you enjoyed my asparagus, mushroom and tomato quiche on Saturday night.

Good to see the garden swing getting lots of use. Always wanted one myself…oh well!

Yes, I should try to stream JJJ at work and listen to Dr Karl. He is so interesting to listen to. A great science communicator.

As always, such beautiful images from your everyday life.
