i love those paws! in fact i love all the pictures, it looks so calm and lovely.x
The snow! It’s been about 17 (-8 C) degrees ’round here, and we have half a foot of snow on the ground. LOVE!
Love all the pictures of your furbabies, especially the paws!
For me, furbaby snuggles are the best right now not just because I love the sweet snuggles…but a girl’s gotta keep warm during our cold months. But I will say that seeing our first snow was nice too. We didn’t get a ton, but we got just enough to put a blanket on the ground.
ah! those tomatoes look FANTASTIC. months and months until fresh tomatoes are back in the states. enjoy, enjoy! lovin’ that first cat photo too!
Uh those kitty paws! I Love little furry paws. Even if I sound like a freak. I Love my Dogs paws and I think its actually the part of her I touch the most ^^
(I will admitt that I like to smell them too….is that freakish?)
I Love how peaceful your pictures always look.
what’s making me smile the most lately is the daydreams I’m having about moving together with my guy in the next months. Can’t wait.

PS. Those tomatoes look SO GOOD!!
All very very lovely things!
Beautiful!
it must be (so)… liberating
My tomato plants have got some green fruit on them – typical of the growing season in Far South Tasmania – but when I look at your tomato photo, I have something to look forward to!
I’ve just stated watching Downton Abbey with my daughter. We don’t watch TV here (nearly 9 years without and counting!), and so I’m always a little slow to find out about good things to watch until they’re on dvd. This is an absolute pearl so far.
Our tomatoes have had a really tough time… Lots of them actually cooked on the vine during a heatwave over Christmas, and the plants haven’t bounced back very well but we are still getting a few. Oh, and we have been meaning to watch Downton Abbey for the longest time! Like you we don’t have TV so are always a bit behind
Well done with your tomatoes! Ours are mostly still green, we had one red one but Willy the dog ate it.
Friends. Reconnecting, remembering, refalling in friendship love with all over again.
Making lots of newies on the trip was ace but the oldies are such goodies. xx
Oh Kate, that is such a good one! There really is nothing nicer than time spent with old friends. xo
Nerd Wars sign ups starting today, sponsoring a mini-kal, brownies and peppermint mochas are all making me smile.
hey katie,
what a WEIRD coincidence (does it ever stop?) i was just looking at this brooch the other night http://www.hardtofind.com.au/products/Little-Lockhart-Brooch-by-Erstwilder.html and now i see here you have the original! i had this weird feeling there was something about it that didn’t sit well with me, and…well…its kind of a rip-off of your vintage one! SO glad i didn’t buy it! apart from that most of their other designs were basically ripping off Lei Stein(who i LOVE), so i knew there was something going on. Anyway, good job on the finds. I do love the photos of the cat on the inside, dog on the outside! looks like so many of have of the bunny/dog. XX
Hehe! The weird coincidences really don’t ever stop! That is so, so strange about the pin… Seriously, what are the chances?! xo
I missed out on Bon Iver tickets and I am so upset about it, enjoy I have seen them before and they are amazing. And I love the deer pin, so sweet and a great find. x
p.s. i love the weepies too
Ooooh – having vintage sheet and ripe tomato envy. Our tomatoes are still so wee and green! And I never seem to find such lovely sheets. Must need to come to Bendigo.
Collecting vintage sheets is my life work
But really, many, MANY op-shopping hours have gone into my little collection. They can be very tricky to find…
aaaaaugh! Your tea is too milky!
Well, too soy milky anyway
I can’t drink tea when it’s too hot so I have to either add loads of milk or wait aaaaaages for it to cool down. Yes, I am a baby.
so damn cute! always <3
first… OH GOD, SO JEALOUS THAT YOU’RE SEEING BON IVER.
okay, now that that’s out of the way… your kitties are too cute. the last pictures makes me want to tickle their paws while they sleep like i do to my fluff ball.
This is such a positive list. I like the pictures of your cat too!
Waw! I read about your blog on Apockylypse and i really like it!

LOVE that little tin. and those tomatoes are amazing!! i have been picking a lot of tomatoes from the garden this week but they not quite as perfect looking as that (more like tiny misshapen little nuggets… haha. but that’s okay too!)

Such lovely little corners of your home!
It looks so nice and sunny!
My nanna had that exact tin! She used it to store her loose leaf tea! I was transported straight back to her kitchen as soon as I saw it. Thank you!
