Sneaky Peeks from the New Humble House

Yesterday we moved our things into our new home, today the power has (hopefully!) been connected and tomorrow we will move in. The first of September is the first day of spring here in Australia, and we thought it was quite fitting that we were moving into our new place on the first day of the season. New house, new town, new season, new chapter. We celebrated with giant sticky buns and coffee in our tiny garden.

We are so in love with this little house. Though it’s grubby and rough around the edges, it’s got so much potential. And even though we can only make very small changes while renting, we can’t wait to make this house our home.

It’s awesome guys, well done. I love Victorian homes and their cozy rooms, fireplaces and many doors. Do the fireplaces work? If so, I bet you’re using them already. I’d also recommend getting some rugs for those floors so they’re not so cold to walk on and the heat with be retained better.

    What’s next… the veggie patch? : )
