Slowly but surely, we are making progress and our little home is taking shape. One by one boxes are being unpacked, rooms are being cleaned and pieces of furniture are being collected and painted. Among the piles of clutter, we now have some tidy little nooks into which we can retreat from the chaos…
The living room is almost organised.
Crochet blankets (essential for chilly Bendigo evenings) have been unpacked.
We are finding ways to fit all our things into this tiny house with no storage.
The kitties have nice places to nap once more.
There is a neat little line of vegetable seedlings in our kitchen, all ready to be planted outside.
And finally, we are off the floor and in a real bed again!
Though, we still have a lot to do, we are trying to focus on the things that we have finished and trying not to stress about the stacks of unopened boxes.
Or the piles of clean laundry on every surface (that can’t be put away because all the cupboards are being painted).
Or the mess of painting in progress.
Or the studio that looks like this. (Oh dear.)
Because as frustrating as it may be, we know that it will all get done. These things just take a little time (and a whole lot of patience).
We hope that this week we will return to more frequent posting. We are beginning to get into more of a routine now and we have so missed regular blogging (and visiting other blogs!) while we’ve been moving. This Friday is also my 25th Birthday. We won’t be doing anything fancy but I am very much looking forward to celebrating with a big piece of cake and a day off with Reubs.
Wishing you all a very sunshiney week!

The white heater is attached to the house and it warms the living room up really well, but the bedroom has no heating and it has been SO cold! We have been very grateful for our electric blanket!
