Coconut Red Lentil Soup and Oat Soda Bread

There’s a lot of sniffling and snuffling going on in the humble house at the moment. Reubs has a cold. I think when you’re not feeling well and the weather outside is chilly, there really is only one thing for it – spicy, thick soup and warm, crusty bread. Hearty, nourishing food guaranteed to warm you, right to your toes.

The recipes for both the Coconut Red Lentil Soup and the Oat Soda Bread are from our most favourite food blog, 101 Cookbooks. Heidi always gets it right and these two recipes were no exception. Exactly what the doctor ordered. (And I suspect they will both become staples around here this winter.)

Do you have any go-to recipes or cozy favourites for when you’re a little bit under the weather?
